Is it worth repairing my fridge or should I replace it?
It depends on the age of the fridge and the fault. As a rule of thumb, if the repair costs less than half the price of a comparable new unit and the fridge is under about ten years old, repairing is usually the smart choice. We'll give you honest advice on the day — we've talked plenty of customers out of unnecessary repairs.
How quickly can you fix a fridge that's stopped cooling?
A fridge that isn't cooling is an emergency in our book, so we prioritise these. In most cases we can attend the same day, and because we carry common parts, many cooling faults are repaired on the first visit.
Do you repair commercial fridges and freezers too?
We focus primarily on domestic refrigerators and freezers. If you have a commercial unit, give us a call and describe it — we'll let you know honestly whether it's something we can help with.
My fridge is still under manufacturer warranty — can you help?
If your fridge is under manufacturer warranty, you'll usually need to go through the manufacturer's authorised service to keep that warranty intact. We're happy to take a look at out-of-warranty fridges of any age and brand.
